T-Series Becomes 1st YouTube Channel to Cross a hundred Million Subscribers, Beats PewDiePie

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has become the first ever YouTube channel to cross 100 million subscribers. The music label was competing with Swedish YouTuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg’s channel PewDiePie.

PewDiePie even released a video slamming T-Series. This might have instigated Bollywood fans leading to the channel’s achievement. Earlier today, Kumar took to his Twitter to thank all the supporters and wrote, “Salute to India’s power! It is the ability of Indian content, customers and our digital strength that has the lead United States of America to a milestone of a hundred million subscribers on YouTube.

Talking concerning the efforts of the team and therefore the reasonably content they place up, Kumar same during a statement, “We have perpetually centered on a golf shot out sensible content. we tend to make sure that the songs that we place out are shot on a lavish scale, fairly often in exotic locations and with sensible production values, typically with illustrious names that include within the videos. My focus has perpetually been on keeping the melody intact for all our songs together with the film songs”.

Earlier, T-Series had defeated Swedish Youtuber Pewdiepie to become the world’s no. 1 YouTube channel. The fight between the two gained momentum on the internet when the two contested one another with an aim to become no.1. It continued for almost 6 months which was concluded in April as Pewdiepie conceded with a rap video.

T-Series had several big league Bollywood stars campaigning for them on social media, urging fans to subscribe to the channel and to put India on the world map.

Before this, PewDiePie’s channel was the top channel on YouTube since 2013.

“It’s very easy to become complacent after a huge victory. The challenge is to constantly be ahead of the curve and study what the market demands and give the listeners what they want and wherever possible to surpass their expectations. As always, we will focus on making better content, content which is more appealing, more entertaining and more engaging,” Kumar added.

yes, all the teams are soon going to meet and brainstorm on how to do we up the game from here. How to ensure that our audience remains loyal to us? We know for a fact that it will again require an immense amount of preparation and hard work. There really is no other way,” Kumar said.

While PewDiePie is an indie creator who shares video game commentary and funny vlogs, T-Series is a music record label and film production company which was founded by Gulshan Kumar in 1983.
